Salts Gone® is a powerful salt and brine remover designed for vehicles, boats, and industrial applications. Its pH-neutral formula ensures it's safe for use on all surfaces including paint, clear coat, aluminum, chrome, and rubber.
Salts Gone® utilizes the process of chelation to eliminate salt deposits. Salt is Sodium (Na) and Chlorine (Cl) bonded together — our formula bonds itself to the Na and Cl, breaking their bond at a molecular level and preventing the salt from ever reforming.
Unlike water, which temporarily dissolves salt but leaves behind deposits when it evaporates, Salts Gone® removes salt at a molecular level. Water merely solubilizes salt, while Salts Gone® actively breaks down the bonds, preventing reattachment to surfaces and subsequent rust formation.
Preventing salt damage is far more cost-effective than dealing with the consequences. Salts Gone® is mixed at a 1:100 ratio with water, meaning a single gallon creates 100 gallons of solution — making it one of the most economical protection products available.
Applying Salts Gone® is convenient and adaptable. You can use a pump sprayer, pressure washer, our 32 oz hose-end sprayers (which mix at a perfect 1:100 ratio), a spray bottle, or a soft wash system. Simply spray on and rinse off.
